About Me

My Background

Judi Lynch is a Connecticut-based artist, violinist, and designer with a background in art history and land use law. She has an extensive portfolio, bringing to life a range of subjects—from countrysides and cityscapes to botanicals and portraits.

My Mediums

I use many different mediums—such as acrylics, colored pencil, oils, and pen-and-ink. Working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process, though my favorite techniques are rooted in realism and impasto. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

My Inspiration

My inspiration comes from the outdoors. Nature, more often than not, informs the color palettes I choose—not only for landscape paintings, but also for portraiture and still-life. When I'm not painting, I'm gardening and spending time with family.
